Course Overview:

The Quality Lead Assessor training course, to be delivered in Limerick as a five day public programme is designed to provide participants with knowledge and training necessary to carry out audits against ISO 9001:2008 within most industrial areas and also to help them to understand the importance of Quality Assurance.

The Quality Lead Assessor programme is also available for delivery as a customised in-company course at client’s facilities nationwide in Ireland, including Dublin, Cork, Limerick and Galway.

Pre-requirement:

This course is intended for professionals with experience in quality management systems.

Course Content:

Introduction to Quality Assurance
Interpretation of ISO 9001:2008
Requirements for ISO 9001:2008 documentation
Types of audits
Plan, preparation and implementation of audits
Managing the audit, selection of audit teams
Evaluation of the significance of audit findings
Techniques and skills required for a lead assessor
Report of auditing and follow up (improving communication skills in presentation of audit reports)
Assessment of continual improvement programmes – their planning, monitoring and results
Evaluation of data collection and analysis systems including customer satisfaction, goal achievement and process monitoring

On the course completion the participants will:

Be aware of the aims, objectives and benefits of the Quality Assurance
Be confident in interpreting ISO 9001:2008 standard
Be aware of auditor techniques & be able to apply them to most industrial areas
Be able to identify the most appropriate auditor technique to employ
Understand the role of Quality Assurance in controlling projects
Be capable of quality assuring projects
